Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Route Driver in Nashville, TN. You will safeguard government locations, deliver customer service, and maintain a visible patrol presence while responding to security-related concerns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a government location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials and visitor authorization per site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for incidents and patrol observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
