Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Patrol Reporting in Jersey City, NJ. You will provide security services, patrol assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Responsabilités

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report observations. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, campus information, and adherence to location procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
