Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Brownsville, TX. You will provide unarmed patrols, customer service to employees and visitors, and maintain security at a manufacturing and industrial location, with flexible day shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities through clear, timely reports.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and material-storage areas for policy compliance, potential property-loss concerns, and security-related issues, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
