Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Pearl, MS to provide security at a logistics and distribution site. You will deliver customer service, monitor access, and conduct regular patrols, ensuring safety and compliance with site procedures.

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and delivery activity; verify credentials and maintain visitor, contractor, and driver logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, trailers, warehouse perimeters, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Pearl, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
