Pay rate is $18.75 per hour. The position offers a base anchor shift, the option to add shifts via the scheduling platform, and a path toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation conducted under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, documenting and escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, common areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct guests, report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare clear activity reports and maintain professional communication with clients and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in Honolulu, HI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM
• Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access‑related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests and contractors, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining professional communication with clients, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
