Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and client personnel per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and report/escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail areas, storefronts, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directional support for shoppers and deliveries.
• Document observations and incidents clearly and communicate to site leadership or responders.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or client personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directional support for shoppers, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
