Job summary

Allied Universal in Delray Beach, FL seeks a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Driver. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, performing unarmed patrols and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service, and the ability to follow procedures. You’ll work a set evening schedule and have access to training and growth opportunities with Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting access concerns, maintenance issues, and other security-related observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or property management when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining professional communication with clients and the public.
