Job summary

Allied Universal in Ohio is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Oregon, OH. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, and ensure compliance with site policies in a chemical/petrochemical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, hazards, equipment concerns, and access-control issues to site contacts.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation as required.

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including facility grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment concerns, and access-control issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
