As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. A valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and relevant observations accurately and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
