Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver for a property observation role in Research Triangle Park, NC. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support a diverse range of commercial clients while maintaining a strong customer service presence.

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and report incidents, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions and per policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants undergo background screening and drug testing as required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management staff while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial properties and parking areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting concerns as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and assist as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Property Observation in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and assist with response activities as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, including observations, actions taken, and notifications made.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
