Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Driver Mobile Patrol in Research Triangle Park, NC. The role emphasizes customer service, visible patrolling, and reliable on-site presence to deter incidents.

You will drive on site under driver policy, complete clear reports, and collaborate with property staff and management. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, background check and drug screen;

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; communicate concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
