Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Patrol Door Checks in Deerfield, IL. You will provide customer service to tenants and staff, perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of building areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report incidents and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation and communicate with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining professional communication with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
