Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, log visitors, and direct authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and per established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities and inform leadership.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Access Control in Battleboro, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
