You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 01:00 AM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility and financial institution locations, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
