As a Part-Time Security Officer in Gilbert, AZ, you will monitor sites, deter incidents, and support access control at a logistics and distribution location, while delivering excellent customer service.

This role features a flexible schedule you can view and claim via our Shift platform, with shifts: Wed 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Thu 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Sat 10:00 PM–06:00 AM.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity across warehouse areas.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, parking, office, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, vendor, and driver activity in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities and document incidents as required.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and communicate relevant observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
