Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Hazard Patrol in Buffalo, NY. In this role you will serve and safeguard clients across a logistics environment, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This part-time position offers flexible scheduling with evening shifts and opportunities to learn our patrol software and procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $17.65 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, building perimeters, access points, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting arrivals, departures, and relevant activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions, damaged property, and potential security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
