Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in compliance with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and guest concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicating with staff and responders as needed.

Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with hotel or resort staff, guests, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
