Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Lebanon, IN. You will safeguard clients across commercial real estate locations, manage entry points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

This position offers flexible scheduling, the ability to build a shift-based plan using our Claim a Shift platform, and opportunities for career growth within a trusted security team. CPR certification is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the commercial property, including entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, and site-specific concerns.

• Fri 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 05:00 PM - 06:00 AM
