Allied Universal in Lake City, FL is seeking a Part Time Screening Specialist to monitor access points, screen individuals and belongings, verify credentials, and report security concerns to protect clients and staff.

This role offers a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform, with day and night shifts and a professional, collaborative work environment that values integrity and service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required.

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help support a controlled corrections environment by monitoring access points, screening individuals and belongings, verifying credentials, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and help deter unauthorized activity. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:01 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
