Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Asset Protection in Monroeville, PA. You will secure healthcare and other facilities, provide customer service, and deter incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required; valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and medical-related events in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access control procedures, and report unusual conditions.
• Complete incident reports and maintain activity logs for leadership and site representatives.

Pay Rate: $19.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
