Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Hanover, PA to protect a food and beverage manufacturing site. The role emphasizes customer service, access-control discipline, and incident response within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation.
• Subject to drug screen.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, visitor credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization before permitting access to designated areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records; issue and recover credentials, keys, and/or access devices in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
