Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Control access to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and restricted operational areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
