Job summary

Allied Universal in West Finley, PA is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization to manage entry points at a utilities location. You will verify credentials, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.

You will operate access-control systems, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, communicate access concerns to site contacts, and respond to incidents and alarms using established procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
