Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Mobile Patrol Driver in Durham, NC. You will perform unarmed patrols, safeguard facilities, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions, damaged property, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
