Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Professional in Roy, UT. You will greet visitors, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and deliver excellent customer service to a defense-site environment.

Role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and at least 1 year of security-related experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. This position offers flexible shifts and on-site work with comprehensive safety practices.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized guests at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location, following site-specific procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue and collect visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to contacts or locations.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate routine access concerns, suspicious activity, and facility issues to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and deter unauthorized access through consistent security procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized guests at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location, following site-specific procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor visitor access, verify credentials, issue and collect visitor badges, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate routine access concerns, suspicious activity, and facility-related issues to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional front-desk environment by maintaining accurate records and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
