Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Front Desk Driver to greet visitors, verify access, and manage front desk operations at an aerospace/defense site in Wichita, KS.

You will document security activities, deliver customer service, and help maintain site protocols while using computer or tablet tools. A valid driver’s license is required and the role is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, maintaining visitor records, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility, issue visitor credentials as authorized, and report access-control concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying emergency contacts when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
