Job summary

Station Casinos' Durango property is seeking a part-time Security Officer dedicated to guest safety and a premium experience in Las Vegas, NV. You will protect guests and Team Members, respond to emergencies, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment.

Ideal candidates have prior security, law enforcement, or military background, and can meet physical requirements. Nevada gaming registration and a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous Security Officer, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.
• Ability to subdue person(s), run, climb stairs, sit, stand, and walk for duration of shift.
• Nevada Gaming registration may be required; must be 21+ and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and assist in emergencies (fires, medical, and criminal activity).
• Patrol public areas, team member service areas, and company grounds for guest and team member safety.
• Observe, report, and take action as directed; document incidents as required by supervision.

While there are several tasks that define your role, you will need to be really good at making it easy for our guests: delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others whenever possible, all with an approachable sense of luxury. Most of the time, you will be:

Responding to and assisting in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.

Patrolling and observing all public areas, Team Members service areas, and Company grounds for the safety of guests and Team Members.

Observing, reporting and taking action as directed by the supervisor with respect to all suspicious, unusual situations. Documenting all incidents as directed by immediate supervisor.

Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming registration (must be 21 years of age), Alcohol Awareness Certification card, (must be 21 years of age) and valid driver's license.
