Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous Security Officer, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming registration (21+).
• Ability to obtain firearm certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification.
• Must complete bike training course.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies including fires, medical incidents, and security threats.
• Defend and defuse disturbances; may engage in physical confrontation if necessary.
• Patrol hotel grounds, parking areas, and surrounding zones for security threats.
• Monitor for burglaries, trespassers, and removal of property without authorization.

While there are several tasks that define your role, you will need to be really good at making it easy for our guests: delivering service with a personal touch and delighting others whenever possible, all with an approachable sense of luxury. Most of the time, you will be:

Responding to and assisting in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.

Responding to all disturbances in order to defuse the incident. Prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation when necessary. Always remain alert.

Patrolling hotel grounds, parking areas and surrounding areas continually observing for prowlers, parking in restricted areas, blocking of exits and fire hazards.

Alert for burglaries, prowlers, vandalism, trespassers and removal of hotel/casino property without proper authorization.

Previous Security Officer, Law Enforcement or Military experience preferred.

Ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming registration (must be 21 years of age), Alcohol Awareness Certification card, (must 21 years of age) and valid driver's license.

Ability to obtain and pass firearm’s certification

Must be able to successfully complete bike training course
