Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Driving Patrol Security Officer for Montgomery, AL. The role offers overnight Saturday and Sunday shifts with a pay rate of $17.93 per hour. Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; verify visitor access and maintain documentation.
• Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to management.

• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; verify visitor access in accordance with site procedures; and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.
