Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Operations in Columbus, MS. This position offers flexible, anchored shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour. The role supports a fixed schedule with the potential to scale to up to 40 hours per week and provides a path toward full‑time opportunities within a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and access‑control documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Operations in Columbus, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
