• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, professional manner, escalating when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate with site contacts and leadership, completing required reports and documentation.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Security Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be documented and verifiable through previous employment or training.
• Valid Driver's License: Applicants must hold a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located (C124). A copy of the driver's license must be provided during the application process.
• Computer or Tablet Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.
• Customer Service Experience: A background in customer service is required (B219). Candidates should have experience in interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing support in a professional manner.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding agencies, completing required reports and documentation for security-related incidents and observations.
