As a Security Officer Part Time Driver in Tarrytown, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service at a healthcare front desk by following site-specific, security-related procedures, visitor protocols, and access-control requirements.
• Greet, screen, and direct visitors, patients, vendors, and staff while verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Monitor front desk communications, cameras, alarms, and access-control systems; report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence and assist with security-related administrative duties, including documenting incidents and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
