Allied Universal in Roseland, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Driver to provide dependable, flexible hours at a designated site, delivering professional customer service and security oversight. This role combines a fixed shift with the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, allowing you to add shifts and strengthen your income while gaining experience across locations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, incoming calls, and front desk activity; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as needed.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence and assist with administrative, communication, and access-control support as assigned.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Driver in Roseland, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
