Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Creve Coeur, MO. The role offers flexible, dependable hours with anchored shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond calmly to emergencies, helping maintain a secure environment at the site. We value reliability, professional conduct, and teamwork, with CPR/First Aid preferred and licensing requirements

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor credentials.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, emergencies, and coordinate with site personnel.
• Document patrols and incidents using required reporting tools.

Pay Rate: $21.23 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures and responding to requests for assistance in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site‑specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical‑related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and coordinate with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
