Job summary

Allied Universal in Hebron, KY is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time for our distribution center. You will provide security, greet employees and visitors, monitor access points, and respond to incidents as needed.

This part-time role offers a fixed weekend schedule (Sat 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. CPR certification is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a technology-focused fulfillment and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
