Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN. This flexible, dependable role offers reliable hours at an assigned site and the chance to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.75 per hour. The position includes fixed anchor shifts, a six-month commitment, and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule while supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Qualifications

• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Prepare incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation for leadership.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report access‑control concerns in accordance with site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response procedures as appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
