Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, undergo background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, including receiving calls, prioritizing requests, documenting incidents, and relaying information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations per escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident reports.
• Monitor access control, alarm, camera systems, and report irregularities to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Triage in Dulles, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, including receiving calls, prioritizing requests, documenting incidents, and relaying information to appropriate personnel and/or responders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor activity records, and other required documentation.
• Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and communications systems as assigned, reporting irregularities and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
