Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public at a government public works location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, maintain visitor/contractor records, and report irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and service requests calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of public areas, buildings, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter as location varies.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public at a government public works location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report irregular activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public-facing areas, buildings, parking areas, equipment storage locations, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
