Allied Universal in Sanford, FL is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Credential Validation Driver. This role supports residential communities by managing access, verifying credentials, greeting residents and visitors, and responding to incidents.

The position requires a valid driver's license, at least 1 year of security-related experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Pay is $19.28 per hour with a night schedule and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle activity records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support adherence to site policies.
• Assist with directing visitors, vendors, and service personnel in accordance with residential community procedures while maintaining a professional presence.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
