Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Twinsburg, OH to protect clients across multiple sectors. The role focuses on access control, credential verification, and reporting, with a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Schedule is Sat and Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; pay rate is $16.75 per hour. You will communicate with employees, visitors, and drivers while ensuring safety and compliance at a logistics and distribution location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle access records.
• Control access to restricted areas, communicate access concerns to site contacts, and help to deter unauthorized entry or removal of property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
