Pay Rate: $21.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 01:00 PM - 05:00 PM; Fri 07:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and other permitted items using assigned screening equipment and established access-control procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry, and direct visitors to appropriate check-in points or designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Maintain accurate screening-related logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
