Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a college degree.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Corrections Officer License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security policies.
• Screen persons and property using screening equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items and unusual activity.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors to check-in processes, and maintain orderly entry points.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and logs related to screening activities, incidents, and equipment status.

You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
• Screen persons and permitted property using established screening equipment and procedures, escalating prohibited items, alarms, and unusual activity according to post instructions.
• Verify access credentials, direct visitors to appropriate check-in processes, and maintain orderly entry points in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Respond to incidents, screening alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Complete required reports and logs related to screening activities, incidents, access concerns, and equipment status.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
