Allied Universal in Jeffersonville, IN seeks a Part-Time Security Officer (Compliance Patrol) to safeguard clients across industries with a flexible schedule and the ability to claim additional shifts via our platform.

Role focuses on professional customer service, visible patrols, access control, and incident response while maintaining a positive environment and team integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive environment.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
