Job summary

All Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Enhanced for a Boca Raton, FL site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with day and weekend shifts designed to provide income stability and flexible hours. This position supports tenants and property teams with security procedures, patrols, access control, and timely incident

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and report observations and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally and request assistance when needed.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Commercial Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri12:00 AM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and property conditions in accordance with site procedures; report observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and request additional assistance when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of security experience
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
