Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; driver’s license may be required for driving roles.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patrons and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dining areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
