• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations and other critical events calmly and professionally per campus protocol
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, residences, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor access points and report access-control concerns, facility issues, suspicious activity and policy violations to site leadership
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts about incidents, patrols and shift activities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report access-control concerns, facility issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
