Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Armed Driver Level III in Houston, TX. You will provide armed security, perform patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Maintain an authorized armed presence in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the store, parking areas, delivery zones, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
