Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for badge verification at a Pittsburgh, PA airport transportation site. You will manage badge access, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain security while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, and enforcing site policies. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport transportation location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and authorized entry permissions for restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at assigned entrances, gates, and checkpoints, reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, terminals, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns.
