As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observer in Dayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and help verify that employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors follow site entry and exit procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
