Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Systems in Dayton, NJ to protect clients across industries. You will manage entry points, verify badges, monitor access, and provide courteous customer service using tablet systems.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.

• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and assist with controlling entry and exit of personnel, contractors, and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify irregular conditions.
• Support the flow of authorized deliveries and shipments by following site access procedures and reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
